About me...
Hello! I'm Daniele Nonnenmacher, a Brazilian psychologist and psychotherapist based in London since 2016. My passion lies in exploring human subjectivity and understanding how emotions and behaviours shape our relationships, physical health, and life trajectories. I have a particular interest in women's mental health and the impact of migration on individuals' lives.
With a rich background in psychology and over 15 years of experience, a significant part of my career involves clinical-hospital care. I have dedicated myself to providing emotional support and promoting emotional health and wellbeing for clients in my private practice, as well as for in-patients, out-patients, and their families in important hospitals and institutions.
I possess extensive experience in addressing emotional difficulties associated with physical health issues, anxiety, stress, low mood, low self-esteem, high-risk pregnancies, foetal medicine, parenthood, bereavement, work-related issues, relationship difficulties and life crises and adjustments.
I am registered as a Psychologist with the Regional Council of Psychology in São Paulo (CRP-SP) and in UK as Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society in London (BPS). I am also an Accredited Member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to their Ethical framework as an Integrative Therapist, ensuring my commitment to good practice and ethical standards.
I actively engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and undergo regular supervision to ensure the clinical safety of my work.
My Approach…
Guided by an integrative, humanized and collaborative approach firmly grounded in ethics and unwavering commitment, my goal as a psychologist is to support clients on their journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
I am committed to assisting my clients in cultivating a profound understanding of their emotions and developing healthy strategies to face conflicts while managing their emotions and behaviours. I believe that through emotional intelligence, we can achieve emotional well-being and a higher quality of life, characterized by improved self-confidence and resilience.
Currently, I work with adult clients, providing both short-term and open-ended therapy in both Portuguese and English. I offer in-person sessions in central London and online sessions.
If you're seeking support for emotional wellbeing and life challenges, I'm here to help you!
